Sangria, And How YOU Can Help!!

It's A Contest. It's a Drinking Game. It's Fun!

I’ve decided to host a giveaway.  I have no idea what I’d give you, but I’ll come up with something.  Maybe a MamaTattoo t-shirt.  Anyway, here’s what I need you to do:

Write down your sangria recipe. White or red is okay – just tell me which type and brand of wine you use along with the rest of the recipe.

I love sangria, and I need it.  Thank you!!

  1. Mine’s a bit complicated: but here goes:

1 Bottle of cheap spanish red, nothing too expensive, but maybe in the 10-15 dollar range.
    4.0 oz Brandy & Benedictine
    4.0 oz Triple Sec/Grand Marnier
1/2 small lemon (very, very, thinly sliced)
    1 orange, medium circle wedges
1 cup frozen blue berries/frozen fruit mix
1/4 ripe mango, cubed in small centimeters.
    Schweppes ginger ale
    Peppercorns, whole,
    1/2cup sugar

Empty half the wine into a carafe,
Slice fruit thinly and lay in the wine
let the two sit for twenty minutes
add the B&B and the Grand Marnier
Add in the ginger ale to the top.

Take the sugar, remaining wine, and peppercorn. Put into a pot, and reduce into a syrup. Let the syrup cool, and then drizzle into the bottom of your glass.

    Add sangria.

    • Blaise – I have one big problem with your recipe. I need to try it RIGHT NOW!!!!! My mouth is watering and I need to go and collect the ingredients for a serious taste test! Thank you for sharing.
